Created by German software developer Alexander Sabov, PicMaster is an easy to use image editing utility that can be used on top of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. Before you can use the application, you have to go through two steps: downloading and installing the application.

You will be glad to know that downloading PicMaster will only take a moment. The download weighs in at some 1.5MB, which means that getting PicMaster off the web and onto your computer will only take a moment, even if you are on a less than spectacular internet connection. To my mind, it is always nice when you don’t have to wait a long time for a download to complete.

Furthermore you will be glad to know that installing PicMaster on your Windows-powered computer is a straightforward process that goes along smoothly and rapidly. Just follow the instructions presented by the setup wizard and you should be done in no time at all.

Once you’re done installing PicMaster, you can finally enjoy the functionality this application has to offer. Here is what you can expect to get:

- Retouch images, remove red eyes, and other image editing capabilities.
- Enhance the way your images look by using one of the built-in filters. There are more than 300 filters included in PicMaster. If that isn’t enough, you can always create your own filters or get a Photoshop compatible filter from the internet.
- Using your own images, create a slideshow with good looking transition effects. Add background music and voice comments to the slideshow.
- Print your pictures on multiple pages and stick them together as a giant poster.
- Create a mosaic picture composed of a multitude of smaller pictures.
